We’re excited to share this month’s 10X Vets Real Estate and Capital Circle recap, led by Bill Militello!
This session centered on a powerful idea: capital is ammunition, and how it’s deployed can either accelerate momentum or quietly compound mistakes.
Bill guided members through the importance of reinforcing momentum instead of resistance. Members shared real-world examples of holding onto losing investments too long, selling strong assets prematurely, and struggling with the emotional weight that capital decisions carry.
A key takeaway was the distinction between cyclical challenges and structural issues — and the discipline required to tell the difference.
The conversation also highlighted how underperforming assets impact more than financial returns. Mental load, stress, and reduced clarity were discussed as hidden costs that can limit future opportunity.
Members emphasized the value of freeing up capital and mind space to focus on ventures that are aligned, scalable, and positioned for growth.
