Scott Mackes
Founding Member
Scott Mackes has dedicated his career to supporting the success of fellow military veteran entrepreneurs through his work at 10X Vets, Academy Fund and Service Academy Business Mastermind (SABM) Group. Scott and his team have attracted 600+ investor group members and over 100 members of the 10X Vets program and he was mentioned on Forbes.com as having one of the most innovative mastermind groups. Scott is passionate about opportunities that allow him to create innovative solutions for the benefit of many. Scott graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2001 and has an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
William Militello
Founding Member
William “Bill” Militello leads the Capital Circle at 10X Vets. Bill has 20+ years of asset management and compliance experience. He is a 4x business founder and sold 2 regulated securities companies. Bill raised capital for 40+ companies and investment funds through 100+ financing rounds and participated in the purchase of $550M+ in Commercial Real Estate. Bill graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1992 and later served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Officer.
David Wuensch
B2B Circle Leader
David Wuensch leads the B2B Circle at 10X Vets. David is President of EPOCH Sales Management Solutions and helps small B2B business owners achieve sustainable revenue growth by working with them in four areas: strategy, people, processes, and tools. Client sales typically increase by 25-25% in 90-180 days. David and his team also provide interim sales manager services to free up small B2B business owners and selected sales management consulting services. David is an Army veteran and graduate of the U.S. Military Academy.

Real Estate Development Circle Leader
Ricky Waters leads the Real Estate Development Circle at 10X Vets. Ricky is a Professional Engineer and a principal at Bowman Consulting, a multi-disciplinary professional services firm offering a broad range of energy, infrastructure, real estate, and environmental management solutions to customers who own, develop, and maintain the built environment.
Randy Wimmer
Government Contracting Circle Leader
Randy Wimmer leads the Government Contracting Circle at 10X Vets. With nearly thirty years either in or supporting the Federal Government, Randy is the ultimate “industry insider,” having won over $2 billion in government contracts. Randy is the founder of the Government Contracting Academy where he helps entrepreneurs, startups, veterans, business owners, and current GovCon professionals achieve their professional and financial goals in Federal Government contracting.
Shaun McAndrew
Women's Circle Leader
Shaun leads the 10X Vets Women’s Circle. She is the VP of Business Development for The Service Design Group, keynote speaker and coach. Shaun honed her leadership skills as a helicopter pilot and Commanding Officer in the U.S. Navy before diving headfirst into conveying the stories that build business relationships and create personal transformations. Shaun served in numerous leadership capacities during her Navy tenure. She commanded a helicopter squadron, HSM-41, that was recognized as the most effective production squadron in the Navy. She spent the final six years of her Naval career in higher education developing leadership skills in thousands of future officers. Shaun holds a MS in Strategy from the National War College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
