When one veteran scales, it creates opportunities for dozens more. Every new job, every new partner, every new business line — it echoes through the community. This is how we build an ecosystem, not just a network.

Scott Mackes
Founding Member
Scott Mackes has dedicated his career to supporting the success of fellow military veteran entrepreneurs through his work at 10X Vets, Academy Fund and Service Academy Business Mastermind (SABM) Group. He’s the head connector at 10X Vets and is always looking for new and innovative ways to connect the membership to create new business opportunities for each other. The Academy Fund has funded over $100 million in loans for real estate investment projects led by military veterans and the SABM investor group has attracted hundreds of accredited investors who are funding fellow veterans. He is also the founder of StrengthsMugs.com, a platform offering licensed products related to Gallup's CliftonStrengths assessment, further empowering individuals to unlock their full potential. Scott graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2001 and has an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
William Militello
Founding Member
William “Bill” Militello leads the Capital Circle at 10X Vets. He’s our resident money man! Bill has over 20 years of experience in asset management and compliance. He is a four-time business founder and has sold two regulated securities companies. Bill has raised capital for more than 40 companies and investment funds through over 100 financing rounds and has participated in the purchase of more than $1 billion in commercial real estate. Bill graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1992 and later served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Officer.
Stacy Ryan
Community Manager
Stacy Ryan joined 10X Vets in May 2023, bringing her extensive operational and leadership experience to the community as the Community Manager. She excels at keeping everyone on track to achieve their goals, planning the events and occasionally helps members with writing edits (because everyone needs a good proofreader). Stacy graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2008 and served as a Surface Warfare Officer. After transitioning from the Navy, she moved overseas as a Navy spouse, dedicating her time to teaching English and volunteering for local non-profit organizations focused on supporting women, children, and empowering refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). In her free time, Stacy enjoys training for her next marathon.
Felipe Anciola
Director of Member Growth
Felipe Anciola drives member growth at 10X Vets with over a decade of experience spanning investment banking, capital raising, and entrepreneurial ventures. Previously, he worked in Citigroup’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group, executing more than $2.5B in equity and debt capital markets deals, and at J.P. Morgan, driving revenue growth in prime brokerage sales. Felipe holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern and a B.S. in Engineering Management from West Point. Felipe served as an infantry officer, graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School and deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel as a rifle platoon leader. Now he is active in entrepreneurial ventures focused on real estate and business growth. He also dedicates time to Stop Soldier Suicide, a non-profit organization, as a executive leadership team volunteer.
