We’re excited to share this month’s 10X Vets Capital Circle recap, led by Bill Militello!
This session dug into Bill's favorite territory: deal-making. His central idea was the difference between finding the gold and getting it out of the mountain. Spotting a great opportunity is only half the battle; the harder skill is structuring the deal so it actually closes.
Members brought their own deals to the table, digging into why deals collapse when only one side wins, how to tease out what a seller truly wants, and how to spot tire kickers who drain time without intent to transact.
The biggest takeaway tied it all back to building real wealth. Capital is common, but trust and creative problem-solving are rare. The operators who become the easiest path to a successful outcome are the ones who win the deals others cannot.
