Our “Member in the Spotlight” for April is Marine Corps veteran, Joshua Emison (USNA ‘14). Josh is the founder of Tracer Franchising, where he helps aspiring business owners—especially fellow veterans—navigate the franchise world with clarity and confidence. With experience as a franchise consultant, franchisee, and former franchise sales leader, Josh brings a well-rounded and realistic perspective to what it takes to succeed in franchising.

At this month’s 10X Vets All Call, he shared practical insights on franchise ownership, including how to align business models with personal goals and why veterans are often well-suited for the franchise path. Passionate about cutting through the noise, Josh is on a mission to make the franchise process more approachable for those ready to take the leap into entrepreneurship.
