We’re excited to feature Joe Ruzicka and Charles Rodriguez from Adams Keegan in this month’s 10X Vets Systems & Scale Circle recap! This session focused on helping members structure their businesses for growth and long-term success — with expert guidance on building operational systems and preparing for a future exit.
Charles Rodriguez, Vice President of Human Capital Management Consulting at Adams Keegan, brought over two decades of experience to the conversation. He shared a practical walkthrough on building strong, scalable teams and highlighted common growing pains like unclear compensation models, fading company culture, and mismatched hiring. He also offered tactical frameworks for institutionalizing values, managing performance, and improving retention.
Joe Ruzicka, a Naval Academy graduate and Vice President of Operations and Sales at Adams Keegan, opened the session by highlighting key HR challenges that small business owners often face, especially around team building and delegation. He explained how Adams Keegan helps business leaders offload HR responsibilities so they can stay focused on growth and strategic direction.
