After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2000, Nathan Rocklein served as a naval aviator. He spent ten years on active duty as a pilot of the Lockheed P-3 Orion, an anti-submarine and maritime patrol aircraft. Nathan was also an instructor pilot on the Beechcraft T-34 Mentor and worked at the Pentagon. When he's not busy working as a Vice President at Capital One, Nathan serves as a reservist and runs Squadron Nostalgia, a successful company where his aircraft knowledge and experience really come in handy. Squadron Nostalgia LLC produces high-quality, custom military aircraft, ship and submarine models, aircraft tail flashes, military plaques, nameplates and patches. It’s a one-stop shop for all things military memorabilia with a mission to both preserve military history and capture veterans’ stories. Nathan is passionate about the stories and the research involved, which transforms wooden models into heirloom pieces that last for generations. They also provide veterans and active duty service members alike with that must-have, all-important visual aid, an essential component of any aviator-told story! Nathan’s number one goal is to create products that people connect with. The impressive growth and success of Squadron Nostalgia prove he’s been able to do just that and more.
